Doble AA nace en la ciudad de Medellín en 2021, y toma su nombre de la marca Alfred Arnold (AA), pionera en el mercado mundial de bandoneones. Este formato busca integrar los estilos tradicionales del tango, preservando su esencia rítmica y melódica, mientras se enriquece su lenguaje con nuevas sonoridades. Dialogan con otros estilos, y reafirman su vigencia como una música viva y dinámica. Han participado en el Festival Internacional de Tango de Medellín, Festival de Tango de Popayán, el Festival Hatoviejo Cotrafa y el Festival de Cuerdas Entrecruzadas. Han recibido clases y compartido escenario con importantes referentes del tango en la actualidad como Ramiro Gallo, Pablo Jaurena, Renato Venturini y Marco Blandón. Para esta ocasión traen un programa con música de Ástor Piazzolla, Marco Blandón, José Colangelo y Andrés Linetzky, entre otros.
