Los hermanos Bryan (violonchelo) y Silvie Cheng (piano) decidieron conformar este dúo, cuyo debut se realizó en el Carnegie Weill Recital Hall, en 2011 y, desde entonces, han realizado giras por Norteamérica, Europa, Asia y Sudáfrica. Además de su búsqueda por repertorios poco interpretados de compositores reconocidos, se han interesado también comisionar y estrenar música nueva. Cuentan con cuatro producciones discográficas tituladas Violoncelle français (2016), Violonchelo del fuego (2018), Russian Legends (2019) y Portrait (2023), y en esta ocasión celebrarán el aniversario de Maurice Ravel con su programa Unravelling Ravel (Revelando a Ravel), que presenta música de algunos compositores que admiraban su música, como Érik Satie, Claude Debussy, Igor Stravinsky y Modest Mussorgsky.
